Robert is an experienced and sensitive executive coach; he is able to coach individuals or groups in presentation skills, public speaking, job/promotion interviewing skills (both sides of the table), as well as being qualified to use popular psychometric profiling tools to assist in assessing self–awareness and defining team member characteristics for individuals and teams. During his time in the RAF, Robert has experienced the challenge of team development and team management from teams of 5 to 500 people (including Service personnel, civilian staff and contractors).
Robert is a Business Development consultant experienced in assisting SMEs trading in the Rail Sector (or looking to enter the rail sector) helping them on their ‘route to market’ with particular expertise in testing, trialling, marketing and demonstration of products goods and services. Robert is a qualified, experienced teacher and lecturer in the following topics: Mathematics, Computing, Cyber Security, and History of Air Power. Robert is an accredited BS11000 Coach/Facilitator and he runs Awareness and Internal Auditor courses for BS11000 (the World’s first national standard for Collaborative Business Relationships).
Robert’s passion is that of motorsport and, through the years, he has attempted road rallies, autotests, sprinting, hill climbing, karting, trials riding and one very unsuccessful, but apparently hilarious, attempt at motocross. Next year sees him take on circuit racing with the Mighty Minis Championship racing a Rover Mini Cooper… look out (literally!) for no 88. As a past Deputy Chairman of the RAF Motor Sports Association, he has experienced a variety of ‘Motorsports Management’ roles — something he hopes to develop further.
